Seniors want more action and shorter stays

Senior Summer School, the education vacation specialists, introduces a new one-week session in San Diego this summer.

;

Travelers have two session choices for this all-inclusive week long program. ; The first session runs from June 12th – June 18th and the second session is June 19th – June 25th. ; ; ; ; ;

;

“We have been in the Education Vacation business for 19 years and during that time we have seen our customer change. ;It started with individuals living in Florida or Arizona wanting to get away from the heat for 8 – 10 weeks during the summer to people now wanting quicker getaways. ;

;

Today’s seniors are more active, more involved with their communities and families, and no longer want to be away for weeks at a time. ; We are addressing this change by introducing a one week program in San Diego”, stated Seth Wirshba, President, Senior Summer School. ;

;

“Seniors will enjoy the same high quality instruction, educational sightseeing trips, three daily meals and accommodations that they have come to expect from our programs. ; San Diego is by far our most popular destination, so it made sense to test market our one-week program here”, explains Dave Schwack, Program Director.

;

Senior Summer School has 8 locations this summer at colleges and universities located in the following cities: ; Madison, WI; San Diego; Los Angeles; Greensburg, PA; Boone, NC; Boston; Flagstaff, AZ; and New Brunswick, Canada. ;

;

All programs offer classroom studies, recreation, sightseeing, accommodations and meals. ; The one-week San Diego trip is $799/person double occupancy.
