US: Right Home Announces New Senior Protection Plan

An innovative real estate program designed to make the home selling process more comprehensible and safer for seniors was unveiled today by Right Home at the California Association of Realtors convention in San Diego. ; A privately-owned real estate services corporation licensed and serving California, Right Home re-invented the traditional real estate brokerage model by its exclusive use of salaried real estate agents, providing the strongest consumer protections in the industry.


In the Right Home Senior Plan, salaried real estate agents are required to submit any legally binding document or contractual agreement to a real estate attorney of the senior’s choice, for review, consultation and approval before the client signs them. ; Right Home will provide the senior client (62 years and older) with a list of independent real estate attorneys who understand the plan and have agreed to be paid by the company.


The attorney’s role is advisory and provides an outside expert with whom the senior may review all materials during the home selling process, from comparative market analysis to escrow documents, and the method of transfer from proceeds of the sale. ; To ensure that the client has full access to his/her counselor, Right Home offers transportation services to the attorney’s office, if needed. ; Professional services are not limited to just legal consultation, but also include accounting, investment and estate planning.
